Course Structure

The course is suitable for students from the age of 13-adult. It will assume no prior knowledge of Latin, but may be suitable for students who have studied some Latin before, perhaps through the Minimus series of books, the Cambridge Latin Course or Classics for All.

This course is suitable for students being home-schooled or those attending mainstream education who may or may not be studying Latin in school. Although it will be assumed that students are benefitting from no additional instruction, the course could also be useful for students who want to give their school studies in Latin an extra boost.

Topics of lessons will be clearly labelled, giving students the opportunity to dip into and out of the course as they might need.

The textbooks used will be Latin to GCSE Parts 1 and 2by Henry Cullen and John Taylor

My child is SEN and struggles. How can you help?

At National Tutors, we understand that every child has unique learning needs. We constantly looking for tutors who specialise courses for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to ensure that they can learn in a way that works best for them. Some of tutors are neurodivergent themselves or have SEN children themselves so can empathise and support parents as well as the student. At National Tutors we just want to help children reach their full potential no matter who they are.
