Course Structure

Biology, students should grasp the fundamental concepts of life processes, including cell structure, genetics, and evolution. They should understand the workings of the human body, ecological relationships, and the impact of environmental factors on living organisms. Additionally, topics like photosynthesis, respiration, and the nervous system are crucial for a comprehensive understanding of Biology. (49 sessions in total)

Chemistry requires students to comprehend the structure of atoms, elements, and compounds. They should learn about chemical reactions, bonding, and the Periodic Table. Acquiring knowledge of acids, bases, and salts, as well as the principles of organic chemistry, is essential. Furthermore, understanding the concept of energy changes during chemical reactions and environmental issues like pollution is important. (53 sessions in total)

In Physics, children need to familiarise themselves with topics such as forces, energy, waves, electricity, magnetism, and the behaviour of matter. They should grasp the laws of motion, the principles of electricity and magnetism, and the nature of light and sound. Additionally, understanding concepts like energy transfer, radiation, and the principles behind technologies like electricity generation is crucial. (67 sessions in total)

Overall, this course will provide a strong grasp of fundamental scientific principles, practical skills, as well as the ability to apply scientific knowledge to real-world scenarios.

The course starts September 2023 and recordings will take until April 2025.

How do I get access to the sessions?

After enrolling in one of our programs, you will login to our online learning platform. From there, you will be able to click on all the recorded sessions or view the schedule of live sessions be provided with a link to access the live sessions. If you have any trouble accessing the live sessions, just message the tutor on their Community page.

Do you do private 1:1 sessions?

Yes, you just contact the Tutor who will organise this with you.

What if I can't make the Live session?

All live sessions are recorded so you can access the recording at any point after.

My child is in Year 11 and needs help revising.

At National Tutors, we understand that every child has unique learning needs. We constantly looking for tutors who specialise courses for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to ensure that they can learn in a way that works best for them. Some of tutors are neurodivergent themselves or have SEN children themselves so can empathise and support parents as well as the student. At National Tutors we just want to help children reach their full potential no matter who they are.
