I am a chartered public finance accountant with over 20 years’ experience of accountancy and finance. I have worked in various financial roles but for the last 10 years have focussed on training and assessment, working with several accountancy trainers and award bodies. I have a First Class (with Honours) Maths degree, a Chartered Mathematician and am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy.
I have taught one-to-one, in groups both face-to-face and online, including students from around the world with a high pass rate. I tailor sessions to student needs and make use of a variety of approaches to help student understanding.
Outside work I like to play cricket and mess about with miniature steam engines.
