Hello! My name is Samantha Simic and I have been tutoring maths and science for over 15 years. I’m a qualified teacher and Cambridge graduate, but I currently split my time between working at a local home ed partnership programme and being a mum to a lively five year old.
I focus on improving confidence and fostering a deeper understanding of each topic. By relating theoretical concepts to everyday ideas, I help students find the common-sense structure hiding behind abstract numbers and theories. I also specialise in working with neurodiverse children and those with learning-based anxiety.
My first degree in Earth science fostered a passion for nature and the outdoors, a profound respect for the planet and also a surprising talent for drawing rocks! (But sadly only rocks.)
