Sarah Dowie qualified as an English teacher in 2006 and has worked in a wide variety of schools across Essex since then. She has been a Head of Department, a teacher trainer for an exam board and an examiner. She currently works as an English Intervention Teacher in a school in Essex. Sarah holds a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Reading, an MA in Modern and Contemporary Literature from Birkbeck College, University of London and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Sarah has taught GCSE and A Level for a number of years. She has also taught IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate. She is experienced in AQA, Edexcel and CIE exam boards. Sarah has worked with students of many different abilities and with different needs. She is currently working on making the English curriculum more accessible to Autistic students.
Sarah is writing her own book.
